Healthy eating and its benefits are promoted by involving children in cooking activities, talking about healthy foods and through providing a healthy balanced menu. All food is prepared in the setting and where possible dishes are cooked from fresh ingredients. Children are encouraged to try new foods and healthy eating is promoted and children also have the opportunity to experience foods from other cultures such as Chinese food when celebrating Chinese New Year.

Our Food Hygiene practices meet the requirements of the latest Food Hygiene Regulations as set out in the "Safer Food, Better Business" initiative, Hippitots has been rated as 5 stars by Environmental Health Inspection.
